Do I need an account to start?

You sign in with Apple, Google, or email — then create your household in seconds. No breed profiles or lengthy setup.

How does the double-feed warning work?

Every tap syncs instantly, so the checklist always shows what’s already done — that alone stops most double-feeds. And in the rare case two of you open the same pet while a meal or dose is still unchecked, you both see a live banner, so nobody serves a second dinner or a double dose.

Can my whole household use it?

Yes. Invite anyone with a code or QR — partners, family, flatmates, dog walkers. Everyone shares the same live checklist.

So is this a simple tracker or a full pet record?

Both, and the order matters. What you use every day is one tap — that never gets slower. The pet file (chip and passport numbers, vet and insurance contacts, weight, vaccinations, visits, costs) sits one tap away from the home screen and stays empty until you want it. Nothing is required, and nothing you skip nags you.

What’s actually in the pet file?

Identity and paperwork: microchip and EU passport numbers, birthday, sex, neutered. Contacts: your vet, the emergency clinic, the insurance policy. Health: weight over time, vaccinations and worming with due warnings, vet visits with diagnoses and photos of the paperwork. Money: what you spend, by category and month. Plus 30-day trends from your own logs — meals a day, typical mealtime, walks a week.

Does it work for cats too?

Yes — litter box, flea meds, food, symptoms. Your household sees it all the same way. Only the name stays dog-flavored.

What if I forget to log something?

No problem. Add it later and put it on the right day — you can even move an entry to another day or time. A walk you did earlier can be added by hand too.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your household’s data only ever belongs to your household — no one outside it can see it, and there’s no hidden tracking. You can export everything yourself or delete your account at any time, right in the app.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Log as usual with no connection — your entries save on your phone and sync automatically the moment you reconnect.

How does the beta work?

Sign up with the email on your Apple ID (iPhone) or Google account (Android). We’ll send you a TestFlight or Google Play invite. Install DidWeFeed, create your household, and invite the person you share your pet with — that’s when it really shines.
